I love my Matcha bowl and the bamboo tools seem okay. As I am not an expert I guess it will be something I see in the long term as far as how long they last before replacement is needed. I have used them and am enjoying my Matcha as I write this.Now I gave the product four stars mostly for the bowl and I will see how the whisk etc do over the next couple of weeks.If I were to rate the packing I would give it two stars. The tape on the box was in rough shape and i was a little surprised it had stuck as long as it had. The container the whisk and spoon came in was broken and cracked on the top and down the side although nothing was damaged inside. And that only means I am glad it came in the container because otherwise what ever cracked the rigid plastic container would surely have broken the whisk. The bowl was in its own box and the bowl itself was bubble wrapped and so it was fine. But considering the size of the shipping box for three small items there should have been some buffer bags inside to prevent the sliding around of the contents.So I am happy with my products but I have to say Amazon usually overpacks and this time they barely packed. They get two stars...one for using tape and another for putting everything in a box.

A nicely done small and very effective whisk for the money. It does a great job mixing and frothing up my matcha every time. I like that it's small enough to fit into my any of my matcha bowls but the number of bits sticking out really do a great job in such a small form factor. I think it would probably be a great whisk for any light duty task in the kitchen.

The middle interior whisk arms originally were sort of combined when the whisk arrived but have separated since first use. I found that rinsing and storing with the arms down helps to keep the middle interior ones from expanding out and being longer then the outside ones.

The scoop works nicely as well and picks up a good sized amount of matcha, depending on whether it's sifted or not. I get approximately .04 oz of tea or just over 1 gram per scoop when lightly sifted. I was curious if you could get too much in a scoop and it tends to fall off when its over the maximum amount based on how damp the material is. You can however get too little, but that is remedied with a followup scoop. And it depends on the matcha and how strong you like it.

I've not used the spoon, as I've had no need for it but it seems like it would work nicely just the same.

I'd buy this again if I needed a replacement, both for the quality and the price.

I am fairly new to matcha. After suffering a bleeding ulcer and having to give up homemade lattes for 8 weeks I needed something with caffeine but less acidity than espresso. I started making matcha lattes instead and I fell in love with Jade Leaf Matcha Green Tea Powder for my drinks. Now I though it blended ok with a whisk, fork, or a ball whisk - but I was wrong. I bought this Bamboo Matcha whisk to see if there was any difference and there most certainly was. It blended the matcha without any issue and made it more frothy and smooth. I was so impressed with the difference I bought a second one so I could have one at work and one at the office. To be honest, I am not sure what you to with the spoon vs the scoop and I could care less as I am not doing a tea ceremony. I can use a measuring spoon to get the scoop of product but the specal whisk really makes a difference in the smoothness of flavor and the bending.
My perfect Matcha latte is 1 cup whole hot (but not boiling) milk, 1 teaspoon Jade Leaf Matcha Green Tea Powder, 1 splenda, a few drops of almond extract. Mind you I am low sugar due to bariatric surgery, if not I would do honey instead of the splenda. This is so much better (and better for you) than the junk matcha they have at Starbucks.

I ordered the whisk and the spoon but got the whisk and the scoop instead. Additionally, the plastic storage container the whisk came in was cracked and parts of it fell off. Also, there's a "$5 off" coupon for the company's matcha powder, but when I tried it out, it did a 10% off discount instead :(

The whisk itself does a good job in blending the matcha and is easy to clean with just water. Do be careful when handling it though, because it feels like I could easily snap the whisk in half. This is a decent product if you want to make matcha but don't want to spend a lot of money on a nicer whisk.
